Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

Re-Deal offers warranty coverage on refurbished devices to give you peace of mind. The specific warranty period is mentioned on the product page and invoice (typically 3, 6, or 12 months).

What is Covered: Hardware defects and malfunctions occurring under normal use conditions (e.g., touch issues, microphone/speaker failure, camera malfunction not due to impact).

2. Warranty Exclusions (Void if...)

The warranty is void and does NOT cover:

  • Physical Damage: Broken screen, dents, or bent chassis due to drops or impact.
  • Liquid Damage: Exposure to water or moisture (even for IP-rated devices, as seals may degrade).
  • Unauthorized Repair: If the device has been opened or repaired by a third party.
  • Software Manipulation: Rooting, jailbreaking, or installing custom ROMs.
  • Wear & Tear: Normal battery degradation or scratches.

3. Battery Warranty

Batteries are consumable components. We provide a separate 1-month warranty on batteries specifically, regardless of the device warranty term, covering significant unusual drops in health or failure to charge.

4. Claiming Warranty

To claim warranty service:

  1. Ensure you have the valid purchase invoice.
  2. Back up all your data.
  3. Bring the device to our authorized service center or contact support to arrange a courier pickup (shipping charges may apply).

5. Replacement Policy under Warranty

If a defect cannot be repaired, we will replace the device with an equivalent model. If an equivalent is not available, we may offer store credit or an upgrade option (price difference to be paid by the customer).
